Evelyn Mae Thomas, 100, died Nov. 29, 2016, in Newtown, Conn.

She was the beloved wife of Jack Thomas, who died in 1990.

Born and raised in Cleveland (Collinwood), Ohio, she was the daughter of Edward and Mae (Hummel) Weber.

She was employed at the former Lake Shore CC in Bratenahl for 13 years.

She also worked for Sherwin Williams as a comptometer operator.

After moving to Allentown, she became a volunteer for LARC Thrift Shops and was a member of Allentown Business Women’s Club.

She loved music, singing, dancing and fishing.

Her survivors include stepson Richard Thomas of Monroe, Conn. and stepdaughter Jean Clutter of Brookpark, Ohio.

She was “Nana’ to 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by stepson Robert Thomas of Tucson, Ariz.

Arrangements were made by Davis Babcock Funeral Home, Willoughby, Ohio.
