Donald “Ducky” Hockman, 86, of Macungie, died Dec. 2, 2016. He was the husband of Lorraine (Brader) Hockman for 64 years. Born in Pennsburg, he was the son of the late C. Roy Hockman and Ida Mae (Sine) Hockman.

He worked in his family’s grocery store for many years and retired from Redner’s market.

He was president of the Southern Lehigh Jaycee’s where he received the Senator Award. He was involved as an organizer of the Coopersburg Halloween parade.

He was a lifelong Philadelphia Phillies and Iron Pigs fan.

He is survived by daughters, Vicki Wunderly, of Allentown and Judy Assed, of Clearwater, Fla; three grandchildren, Christopher, Brian and Kayla Assed, of Clearwater, Fla. He was predeceased by brothers, Erwin and Paul; sister, Shirley Hofstetter; son-in-law, Richard Wunderly.
