Lyda (McClure) Byers, 77, of Upper Milford Township, died Nov. 20, 2016, at home. She was the wife of the late Rev. Andrew Cheal Byers, who died in 2011. Born in Wilkinsburg, she was a daughter of the late William D. and Lyda (Boyd) McClure.

She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church, Emmaus.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Westminster College and a certificate in physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to retiring, she was a physical therapist for the Sussex County School System, N.J.

She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy and her husband Alex Pensky, of Cleveland, Ohio, Ren and her husband Nathan Leaflight, of Columbus, Ohio and Joyce and her husband Bruce Doyle, of Hoboken, N.J.; three grandchildren, Gretchen Doyle, Bruce Doyle and Daniel Crouse.
