Jane M. Stawasz, 85, formerly of Schnecksville, died Nov. 23, 2016, in Phoebe Home, Allentown, where she had been residing.

She was the wife of the late William W. Stawasz Sr.

Born May 30, 1931, in Elizabeth, N.J., May 30, 1931, she was the daughter of the late John Sr. and Mary (Martin) Lang.

A member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, she formerly sang with the choir.

She was a former member of Schnecksville Grange 1684, the former Upper Lehigh Lioness Club, Schnecksville, and the Parkland Garden Club.

She will always be remembered for her love of music, singing and travel.

Her survivors include a son Robert L. Stawasz and his wife, Kathy, of Hatfield; daughter Karen M. Preiss and her husband, Mark, of Schnecksville; grandchildren Tiffney, Arlen, Ryan, Janelle, Tanner and Meghan; and great-grandchildren Drake and Lila.

She was predeceased by a son William W. Jr., an infant daughter, Donna Marie Stawasz, and a brother John Lang Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Dec. 2 at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield, with the Rev. Richard James as celebrant.

Family and friends may pay their respects 10-11 a.m. Friday in the church.

Interment will follow the service at Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville.
