Elizabeth M. “Betty” Heilman, 94, of Allentown, died Nov. 24, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit, Allentown.

She was the widow of Homer S. Heilman, who died in March.

Born in Deer Lake, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Martha Gerhard.

She volunteered at Lehigh Valley Hospital for 40 years.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fogelsville.

Her survivors include daughters Barbara E., wife of Enrico Gava, of Allentown, Kathryn M., wife of Stanley Stauffer, of Macungie, and Jane A., wife of Bernard Corriveau, of Allentown; grandchildren Andrea, Susan, Elizabeth and Timothy; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Deborah, and a brother Frank “Jim” Gerhard.
