Thanksgiving is officially behind us and we are now into the crazy Christmas and holiday season. December, for me anyway, always seems to fly by in the blink of an eye. This year will be no exception.
The annual Harry S Truman Elementary School PTO Holiday Shoppe will run through Dec. 2. Students have received a scheduled time for their classrooms to shop. There are also evening hours for parents to take their children 6 to 8 p.m.
Salisbury High School will hold its annual winter choral and instrumental concert 7 p.m. Dec. 1.
The HST PTO will hold its next meeting 7 p.m. Dec. 5.
There will be a reorganization meeting at the administration building 7 p.m. Dec. 7 followed by the December board meeting, the curriculum and technology committee meeting and the operations committee meeting. The Dec. 14 regular school board meeting is moved to Dec. 7.
The annual Salisbury Middle School winter concert will be held 7 p.m. Dec. 8.
Dec. 9 marks the mid-marking period for the second quarter at both Salisbury Middle School and SHS.
HST will present the annual fourth and fifth grade band and chorus concert 2 p.m. Dec. 15. The snow date, should we need it, will be Dec. 20.
And just like that December is almost over! PHEW!
