Doris I. David, formerly of Stroudsburg, died Nov. 24, 2016, at Arden Courts, Allentown, where she had been a resident.

She was the wife of Herbert L. David.

Born March 25, 1926, in Greene, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Michael B. and Myrtle (Miller) Phillips.

She was a member of Presbyterian Church of the Mountain, Delaware Water Gap.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Edward T. David and his wife, Sally, of Stroudsburg, Susan K. David (Gelinas) of Schnecksville, Lynn C. Tusar and her husband, Leonard, of Smithville, Tenn., John P. David and his wife, Linda, of Stroudsburg, Mark B. David and his partner, Joseph Maiara of Stroudsburg; sister Ida Repsher of East Stroudsburg; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
