As a reminder, storytime and crafts with Miss Veronica will be held 11 a.m. today (Dec. 1), Dec. 8, 15, 22 and 29.
Each story will be followed by a craft to make and take home.
No preregistration is necessary, and all ages are welcome.

The library is having a fundraiser at Blue Monkey Sports Bar & Restaurant, 1094 Howertown Road, North Catasauqua, 5-10 p.m. Dec. 1. Stop in at the library to pick up a flier to take to the restaurant. Give it to your server, and our friends at Blue Monkey will donate 15 percent of your check total to the library.
You won’t have to cook or do dishes, and the library will get a donation. It’s a win-win for everyone!

The Five Below store in the Whitehall Mall will be hosting a shopping fundraiser for the library Dec. 11-17. Stop by the library to pick up a special flier to use at checkout. The library will receive 10 percent of your purchase total.
Five Below’s hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.

Scrabble night will be 5-7 p.m. Dec. 19. Our experts want to finish out the year with a big challenge!

Don’t forget to buy your poinsettia voucher at the library. It’s the perfect Christmas gift!
You can purchase your voucher for a 6.5-inch potted poinsettia at the library, on sale until Dec. 23, then take your voucher to Garden City Greenhouse, North Catasauqua.
Poinsettias may be picked up Dec. 1-24.

The library will be closed Dec. 24-26 for the Christmas holiday and Dec. 31-Jan. 2 for the New Year’s holiday.

Did you know we take donations year-round for our book sales? We do not accept VHS tapes, textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books or any items that have been damaged by smoke or are dirty, ripped or torn.
All donations are tax deductible, and you can sign up to receive a thank-you letter.
You can drop off any donations during the library’s regular hours.
