Willard G. Ruch, 103, of Whitehall, died on Nov. 19, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He was the husband of the late Marie R.A. (Hoffman) Ruch.
Born Dec. 16, 1912, in Ruchsville, North Whitehall Township, he was the son of the late Francis O. and Lottie E. (Bertsch) Ruch.
A member of U.A.W. Local 677, he was a pneumatic tool repairman for Mack Trucks Inc., Allentown, for 32 years before retiring in 1971.
He was the oldest member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.
His hobbies include playing cards and bingo, working on lawn mower and tractor engines as well as hit and miss engines.
His survivors include children Dorothy M. Lakatosh and her husband, David, of Schnecksville, Ernest I. Ruch of Kutztown; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law Patricia E. (Reinhard) Ruch.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Nov. 25 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Dr. Patience D. Stevenson officiating.
Family and friends may pay their respects 1-2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
Interment will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.
