After the Thanksgiving celebration, many of us will head out on Black Friday to start holiday shopping and look for some bargains! Remember to drive courteously and cautiously during this busy holiday season. There will be heavy traffic, especially around our shopping “hot spots.”

Located near the Village of Stiles, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Egypt, will be hosting a paint party 2-4 p.m. Dec. 4.

Those in attendance will be given instruction to create a Christmas-themed painting.

Snacks, soft drinks and all materials are included.

Proceeds benefit the church’s youth group.
