Marty Allen Graybow, 46, of 418 Morris Court, Northampton, died Nov. 19 at the scene of a motor vehicle accident, according to a Lehigh County Coroner’s Office news release.
The report said the single-vehicle crash occurred approximately 12:35 a.m. Nov. 19 across from 1915 Dauphin St., Hanover Township, in the area of the Route 22 overpass.
Deputy Coroner Craig Hanzl pronounced Graybow dead 1:15 a.m.
According to a Pennsylvania State Police report, Graybow was traveling northbound on Dauphin Street in a 2016 Audi S6 at a high rate of speed and lost control of the vehicle at the crest of a hill. The vehicle continued northwest, crossed the southbound land and left the road on the west side. The vehicle went down an embankment, struck a tree, knocking it over, and continued to travel northwest. The vehicle came to a final stop facing east against a second tree.
Police said the vehicle sustained significant damage.
The report also stated Graybow was not wearing a seatbelt.
Assisting state police and the coroner at the scene were Han-Le-Co Fire Company, Hanover Township EMS, Allentown Police Department, Lehigh County Assistant District Attorney Paul Bernardino and A-1 Towing Services.
An autopsy was scheduled for Nov. 21 to determine the cause of death. The manner of death has been ruled an accident, according to the coroner’s report.
