On Nov. 27, 6 p.m., at the Zentz Community Center of Fellowship Community, 3020 Fellowship Drive, come out and enjoy sounds by the talented musicians of the Parkland High School double string quartet, two gifted pianists and accomplished local soloists.

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 835 Third St., will be having an open house nativity display Nov. 30 to kick off the Advent season.
A free dinner will begin 6 p.m., followed by a church service 7 p.m. Activities will take place after the service.
Those interested in displaying a nativity can set up the display 6-7:30 p.m. Nov. 29. Call Chris at 610-984-3375 for details.
Displays also can be viewed 10 a.m. Dec. 4. Refreshments will be served.

AARP Chapter 3115 will meet noon Dec. 1 at the American Club, 300 Cherry St., Coplay. Those planning to attend are asked to bring a nonperishable item for the food bank.
Refreshments will be available.
