St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 835 Third St., will hold a Veterans Day musical observance 7 p.m. Nov. 12. There will be a color guard from American Legion Post 367 with a bagpipe procession. There also will be musical selections presented by Chancel Choir of St. John’s, the choir from Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church in Catasauqua and Air Products Chorus.
A free-will offering will be taken and given to Hope for Veterans, an agency that gives assistance to homeless veterans in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
There will be refreshments after the service in Fritze Hall.
If you have served in the military or belong to a legion post, the church invites you to wear your uniform or at least the head cover.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 435 Pershing Blvd., will be having its next all-you-can-eat breakfast 8:30-11:30 a.m. Nov. 13 in the social hall.

From 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 15, St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 835 Third St., will host a Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative community meal.
There is no charge.
