Lois B. Lopez, 92, of Macungie and formerly of Arizona and Florida, died Nov. 5, 2016, in Lehigh Commons, Macungie. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Lopez. Born in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Rex and Frances (Plzak) Berner.

She worked as an administrative assistant for State Farm Insurance in Palm Harbor, Fla. until retiring.

She is survived by a daughter, Fran and her husband Rev. Dale Oplinger, of Walnutport; sons, Richard H., of Chandler, Ariz. and Joseph P., of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; brothers, Rex Berner, of Taylors, S.C. and Donald Berner, of Atlanta, Ga.; sister, Julia Landwehr, of Hiram, Ga.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Jack Berner.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Allentown.
