Janet M. Muschlitz, of Allentown, died Oct. 15, 2016, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall. She and her husband, Robert A. Muschlitz, celebrated their 58th anniversary.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late George A. and Marion E. (Brinker) Ogier.

A 1952 graduate of William Allen High School, she was a secretary at GAC.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church since 2001. Previously, she was a member of the former Bethany E.C. Church.

A violinist, she played with the Lehigh County Pops Orchestra, Allentown String Ensemble, Bethany E.C. Sunday School Orchestra, Lehigh Valley All Girl Orchestra, and at the Senior Citizens Center, Allentown, now Lehigh valley Active Life.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Brett A. of Allentown; brother Dr. James M. Ogier and wife, Susan E., of Salem Va.; and cousin Frederick Ogier of Tucson Ariz.

She was predeceased by three children.
