Egypt Community Church invites members of the community to a pre-Election Day prayer gathering 7 p.m. Nov. 7. Attendees will be praying for the future of the country and future generations of citizens.

A church representative said, “Join us no matter what church affiliation you are or what political party you favor or even if you don’t go to church.”

Not a typical church service, this is strictly a prayer gathering, led by Egypt Community Church’s pastor, the Rev. Dr. Bradly Roth.

The church is located at 4129 S. Church St.

The Whitehall swim team is hosting a designer purse bingo featuring Michael Kors, Coach and Vera Bradley items Dec. 3 at the Egypt Memorial Park pavilion. Doors open 4:30 p.m., and bingo begins 6 p.m.

Tickets are $5 cheaper in advance and include 20 games of regular bingo. Food, raffles and specials will be available for an additional cost.
