Glenn B. Pearson, 89, of Upper Saucon Township, died in his home Oct. 31, 2016. He was the husband of Margaret U. (Diehl) Pearson. They celebrated over 70 years of marriage. Born in Center Valley, he was the son of the late Floyd and Freda (Beck) Pearson.
He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 39 years until retiring as postmaster of the Wescosville Post Office.
He was a member of Chestnut Hill Church, Coopersburg, where he was a former Sunday school teacher.
He was a member of the Coopersburg Masonic Lodge and a member and former treasurer of the Grundsow Lodge at Saucon Creek.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Patricia A. and her husband Glenn Snyder, Peggy and her husband Jose Burgos, Lt. Col. Pennie and her husband Randy Hoofman; sisters, Jean Brown, Carole and her husband Donald Gordon; grandsons, Gregory Snyder and his wife Sandy, Peter Snyder and his wife Danielle and John Hoofman; great-granddaughter, Mylin Snyder.
Contributions may be made to the church.
Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Nov. 5 at Chestnut Hill Church, 6870 Chestnut Hill Church Road, Coopersburg. Calling hours will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 4 in the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus, and 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 5 in the church.
