David M. Rickey, 64, of Pompano Beach, Fla., died Oct. 24, 2016, in Holy Cross Hospital, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Marilyn A. (Krauss) Rickey and the late Michael F. Rickey.

He was a 1969 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and a 1974 graduate of the College of Charleston.

He served in the Peace Corp in Korea. He then was a registered nurse for over 30 years at Holy Cross Hospital.

He is survived by his mother, of Allentown; aunt, Marilyn Rickey, of Pompano Beach, Fla; cousins.
