Whitehall library: Library to hold program on Medicare

A program on the basics of Medicare will be held 10 a.m. Oct. 28. Cherie Zettlemoyer will lead the discussion, which will include a presentation on a Medicare supplement product.

Are you or a loved one enrolling in Medicare this year? Are you thinking about retiring? What do Medicare Parts A, B, C and D mean?

Come to this free program, and we will try to answer your questions.

Whitehall Township Public Library will have a Halloween storytime and craft event 1:30-3 p.m. Oct. 29. Our Teen Advisory Board has arranged a fun time for parents to bring the kids for seasonal stories, crafts and fun!

There will be plenty of treats available, too.

Kids, teens and parents alike are all welcome to come in costume!

Master storyteller Charles Kiernan will be at the library 7 p.m. Oct. 31 for a Halloween-themed event. Experience haunted tales about the unusual, the unexpected and tales that will make you not want to peer into dark corners.

Want to get into the spirit of the season? Adults and children alike, please feel free to come in costume.

Our annual used book sale will be held 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 18 and 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 19 in the community room.

A $5-per-bag sale will be held noon-3 p.m. Nov. 19. Bring your own bag - any size!
