St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1027 Church St., Fogelsville, will have its annual Trunk or Treat in the Strohl parking lot from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 28.
They are looking for more people to volunteer and help at the event.

Zion’s Union Church Maxatawny, 329 Church Road, Kutztown, will have a blood drive from 3:30-7 p.m. Nov. 1.
The church will be honoring 1965 and 1966 confirmation classes during the 10:15 a.m. service Nov. 6.
Following the service there will be an all-you-can-eat dinner with two meats and dessert at noon.
Zumba gold classes are offered 6 p.m. every Sunday and 11 a.m. Wednesdays at the church.
Regular Zumba classes are offered at 7:15 p.m. Sundays.
Wear clothes you can move in, sneakers and bring a towel and water.
Scrabble game day at the church is held from 1-3 p.m. the second Monday of every month.
