Robert F. Bowman, 82, of Lehighton, died Oct. 17, 2016,in the Blue Mountain Health System, Lehighton.

The husband of the late Anna B. (Henritzy) Bowman, who died in 2009, he has been the companion of Ann Schoener since 2009.

He was a bus driver for the former Jim Thorpe Tours, Keystone Tours and Lehigh Valley Motor Coach for 38 years.

He was also a limousine driver for the former Reiss Limousines, Lehighton.

Born Dec. 31, 1933, in Washington Township, he was a son of the late Aaron and Beatrice (Williams) Bowman.

He was a member of the Teamsters Union, Local 773, and a life member of Beaver Run Rod and Gun Club, Lehighton.

In addition to his companion, he is survived by sons, Ronald, and his wife, Barbara, Francis, and his wife, Donna, and Roger and his wife, Vickie, all of Lehighton; daughter Rose, wife of Joseph Kemmerer of Apopka, Fla.; grandchildren Sean Bowman, Amy Mota, Stacy Alvarez and Jay Gibson; three great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother Edwin; an infant son and an infant sister.
