Students and staff are encouraged to participate in Halloween dress-up day, scheduled for Oct. 28.

Students and staff are permitted to create a unique, wild hair design and put together a crazy, but appropriate, outfit to wear to school, such as wearing clothing backwards or inside out.

Note, outfits must abide by the dress code, and additional clothing should be worn underneath, if necessary.

Students are reminded to make sure all hairstyles are temporary and completed at home.

Also, students and staff may wear a costume and Halloween makeup. The costume cannot contain a mask, look-a-like weapons or studded spikes.

Picture re-take day for Catasauqua Middle School students is scheduled for Nov. 1. Bring your smile with you to school that day!

Also, the Yankee Candle fundraiser orders are due Nov. 1.

There is an early dismissal scheduled for 12:20 p.m. Nov. 2 for CMS students.

The end of the first marking period for students is Nov. 2.

The Catasauqua Area School Board will hold its next meeting 7 p.m. Nov. 15 at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute, 4500 Education Park Drive, Schnecksville.
