Elona Lorraine Kauffman, 93, of Alburtis, died Oct. 16, 2016, at home. She was the wife of the late Franklin E. Kauffman Sr. who died Nov. 6, 1997. Born in Alburtis, she was a daughter of the late Solon and Helen (Oels) Greenawalt.

She was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd U.C.C. in Alburtis.

She retired in 1988 from Allen Organ with 23 years of service.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Ettinger and companion Bruce Bear, of Emmaus; sons, Franklin E. Jr. and his wife Carol, of Allentown, Ernest E. and his wife Susan, of Alburtis; siblings, Randy Greenawalt and his wife Ann, of Pennsburg, Sharon (Achey) Greenawalt, of Lenhartsville, Shirley Moll, of Macungie; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings, Clifford and Russell and an infant sister.
