Daryl F. Wolf

Daryl F. Wolf, 80, of New Tripoli, died Oct. 21, 2016, peacefully at home.

She and her husband Paul J. Wolf were married 60 years this past April.

Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen (Sinn) Hetrick.

She and her husband owned Wolf’s Orchard, New Smithsville, for 19 years.

She worked there many years prior to their ownership and also worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone for several years.

She was a member of Seipstown Grange 1657, was past president of the PTA at Weisenberg Elementary School and volunteered for Lehigh Valley Hospice with the Hope Group at The Lutheran Home at Topton.

She was an avid supporter of the Northwestern Lehigh High School Color Guard and the Independent Onyx Knight Color Guard.

A member of Ziegels Lutheran Church, Breinigsville, she taught Sunday School, was a Girl Scout Leader, was co-chairman of the social ministry, and wrote articles for the church newsletter she compiled into her book, “Seasons of My Life.”

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Susan, wife of John McAndle, of Schnecksville and LeeAnn, wife of Brian Roberson, of Summerville, S.C.; stepsister Margaret Gilhooly of Burlington, N.J.; extended family members Stanley Mesuch and “Flipper” Leibensperger.

She was predeceased by a stepsister Sandra Brennan and her two Barneys.
