Ruth A. Landis, 57, of Kutztown, died Oct. 11, 2016, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit of the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Homer A. and Lovie V. (Bailey) Snyder.

She was a painter for the former Snyder Painting Company, Kempton, until retiring due to disability.

Her survivors include a daughter Michele R. Landis and her companion, Brett Gift, of Lenhartsville; sons David B. (Tanya) Snyder of Kutztown and Michael M. (Stacy) Landis, of Shenandoah; sister Betty L., wife of Dan Brocious of Germanville; brothers Glenn C. (Elizabeth) Snyder of Kempton, Alton S. (Anna) Snyder of Virginville and Randall H.(Ginny) Snyder of New Tripoli; her companion Noel Ream; and five grandchildren.
