Marjorie E. Solt, 82, of Wescosville, died Oct. 12, 2016, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown.

She was the widow of Allen J. Solt.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Edwin C. and Eva C. (Wirth) Martin.

She spent 25 years with the U.S. Postal Service, where she was postmaster at the Springtown Post Office and the Alburtis Post Office, before retiring in 1992.

She was a member, past president, vice president and secretary of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the National Association of Postmasters of the United States.

She was also a member and past secretary of the local chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees.

Her survivors include a daughter Barbara A., wife of Keith Dierolf of East Stroudsburg; son Gerald A. Solt at home; granddaughters Jacqueline D., wife of Mark Walsh of Temecula, Calif. and Cassandra Dierolf of East Stroudsburg; grandsons John P. Munson of Selden, N.Y. and James M. Munson of Tempe, Ariz.; great-grandchildren Connor, Corban and Camryn; sister Lorraine Graessel of Coral Springs, Fla.; and brother Albert Martin of Punta Gorda, Fla.

She was predeceased by a daughter Diane L. Solt; sister Delores Kline; and brother Charles Martin.
