Communities That Care will hold a meeting 8:30 a.m. tomorrow, Oct. 21, at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road.

Soon November will be here (where did October go?)! So mark your calendar for Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church’s craft fair and quilt sale 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 12.
There also will be homemade goods available for purchase.

Looking ahead, Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative will have a free community meal 4:30-7 p.m. Dec. 20 at Whitehall Bible Fellowship Church, 3300 Seventh St.

At the Ron Madouse Memorial Fund picnic, held Oct. 1 at Hokendauqua American Legion, Wendy Madouse, wife of the late Ron Madouse, Whitehall, participates in a horseshoe tournament, along with John “Beet” Bowman, right, and Jeff Jones, Whitehall High School varsity basketball coach. Proceeds of the event go to WHS varsity sports programs and a Freedom High School scholarship program. Madouse, who
