High school: ‘Fantasy and Farce’ on stage Oct. 22-23
The Catasauqua High School Drama Club is excited to announce their fall performance, “Fantasy and Farce,” two one-act plays to be staged this weekend.
Both shows are produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Services Inc., Denver, Colo.
Act One will be “The Mad Tea Party,” by Brian D. Taylor and Act Two is “Three Doors to Death,” by Keith Jackson.
There will be two performances, 7 p.m. Oct. 22 and 2 p.m. Oct 23, both at the Catasauqua High School auditorium. The school is located at 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton.
All seating is general admission: $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and students. The box office will be open one hour prior to show time.

Proceeds from “Fantasy and Farce” will benefit the club’s spring musical, “Grease.”

Representatives from Muhlenberg College will be visiting Catasauqua High School Oct. 26; representatives from Rider University and DeSales University will be at the school Oct. 27; and representatives from Gwynedd Mercy University and Northampton Community College will be at the high school Nov. 3 to speak with interested juniors and seniors.

The first meeting of the freshman hallway decorating committee was held after school Oct. 19. Any freshman class officer or student who is interested in participating on this committee to help plan for the hallway decorating contest should please see Miss LaBar in room B223.

Anyone interested in joining the German Club should take the $3 membership dues to Frau Haney in room B221 as soon as possible. You will not be allowed to vote for officers or run for an office if you have not paid your dues by Oct. 21.

Any senior with a late arrival waiver is reminded to sign in at the main office.
