Northampton police

Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

SEPT. 9

A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 300 block of East 12th Street. The report said a cellphone charger was taken from a legally parked vehicle.

In the 500 block of Buckingham Drive, credit card fraud was reported to the department.

In the 300 block of East 11th Street, a theft from a vehicle was reported. A yellow Dewalt Bluetooth radio and a Samsung flip phone were taken from a legally parked vehicle, police said.

Officers assisted a female in the 2300 block of Main Street.

SEPT. 10

A hit-and-run accident occurred in the 800 block of Main Street. The report said two legally parked vehicles were struck. The offending silver vehicle fled the scene, traveling north on Main Street.

SEPT. 11

A disturbance was reported in the unit block of East 18th Street.

SEPT. 12

A criminal mischief complaint was filed with the department in the 100 block of West 30th Street for a legally parked vehicle that was keyed.

Police responded to a domestic dispute between a male and female in the 1500 block of Newport Avenue.

SEPT. 13

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 1500 block of Newport Avenue.

In the 1600 block of Main Street, members of the department responded to a domestic dispute between a male and female.

SEPT. 15

Police checked on the welfare of a male at Main Street and Salmon Alley.

SEPT. 16

A male and female harassing a male was reported to police at Smith Lane and Lerchenmiller Drive.

In the 700 block of Dewey Avenue, a domestic dispute occurred between two males.

A disturbance was reported in the 1700 block of Washington Avenue.

Police responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 2000 block of Washington Avenue. The report said three black males were looking into a vehicle. The complainant yelled, and they ran away.

SEPT. 17

Officer Buchanan and K-9 Officer Vito conducted a search of a vehicle at West 17th and Poplar streets.

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 100 block of Candlewycke Lane.

Officers responded to a report of a male harassing a female in the 1500 block of Newport Avenue.

A criminal mischief report was filed with the department in the 2000 block of Center Street. The report said the windshield and driver-side window of a legally parked vehicle was damaged.

SEPT. 18

A vehicle theft was reported to police in the 800 block of Washington Avenue. The report said three vehicles were entered. Oakley sunglasses was taken from one, and a Garmin GPS was taken from another. Papers and other items were moved but nothing was taken from the third.

In the 600 block of East Eighth Street, a vehicle theft was reported. A Michael Kors wallet and $70 in cash were taken.

Police responded to a domestic dispute between a male and female in the 1600 block of Newport Avenue.

In the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue, police responded to a report of a vehicle theft. A new Apple iPad, Dior Homme Black cologne and $20 in change were taken.

SEPT. 19

At Dollar General, 2016 Main St., the department received a report of a male and female shoplifting.

In the 2100 block of Washington Avenue, police responded to a civil matter.

SEPT. 21

Terroristic threats via the Facebook Messenger App were received by a male in the 1600 block of Main Street.

SEPT. 22

Criminal mischief was reported in the 1700 block of Line Alley. The windshield of a legally parked vehicle was smashed.

Officers assisted Lehigh Township Police Department with a report of a domestic dispute in the 400 block of Mulberry Drive.

Debit card fraud in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue was reported to police.

In the 100 block of West 28th Street, police responded to a disturbance.

SEPT. 23

Police responded to a domestic dispute between a male and female in the 1200 block of Newport Avenue.

SEPT. 24

In the 100 block of West 16th Street, a female causing a disturbance was reported to police.

SEPT. 25

Officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute between a male and female in the 1400 block of Ruth Alley.

Criminal mischief was reported in the 100 block of Howertown Road. A legally parked vehicle was egged.

A hit-and-run accident occurred at Diamond and Second streets. The report said a legally parked vehicle was struck. A witness took a cellphone picture of the offending vehicle, which was located.

SEPT. 26

Criminal mischief, which occurred on West Laubach and Newport avenues, was reported to the department. The underpass was spray painted with graffiti.

Trespassing occurred in the 1600 block of Railroad Street. The report said a shed was entered into; nothing was taken.

At Main and 17th streets, officers responded to a report of a locked unoccupied vehicle in the middle of the intersection.

SEPT. 27

In the 1500 block of Poplar Street, police responded to a domestic dispute.

Criminal mischief in the 1800 block of Osbourne Alley was reported to the department.

At 21st Street and Lincoln Avenue, a hit-and-run accident occurred. The report said an occupied vehicle waiting to make a left hand turn was struck by another vehicle, which fled the scene, driving eastbound on 21st Street. The offending vehicle was a large green SUV with possible front-end damage. The operator was described as a white, middle-aged female with long gray or blonde hair.
