Mary M. Hunsicker, 86, of Slatington, died Oct. 7, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born Aug. 9, 1930, in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. Mack and Julia (Serfass) Mack Greenzweig and her husband Charles.

She was a quality control inspector at the former Paris Accessories Inc., Walnutport, for 49 years before retiring in 1995.

She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Walnutport, where she formerly was a Sunday School and confirmation teacher.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and reading.

Her survivors include children Gayle E. Oswald and her husband, Ronald, of Macungie, Jackie J. Reinert and her husband, Dennis, of South Carolina, Brett A. Hunsicker and his wife, Michele, of Slatedale; half-siblings Edward J. Mack Jr., Ellen Hausman, Lorraine Smolick, Joyce Wiker, and Evelyn Crowsen; grandchildren Kerri Secord, Susan Piro, Denise Yelsits, Kristen Zellner, Ronald Oswald II and Jordan Hunsicker; 15 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter Donna L. Hamm, sister Florence Stern and a great-grandson Corey Oswald.

Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Oct. 13 at Christ UCC, 309 Main St., Walnutport, with Pastor Brian L. Haas officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 10-11 a.m. Thursday in the church.

Interment will follow the service at Slatedale Cemetery.
