Mae Harriet Blose, 87, of Schnecksville, formerly of Slatington, died Oct. 6, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Richard S. Blose.

Born Aug. 27, 1929, in Washington Township,she was the daughter of the late Harry L. and Mabel L. (Druckenmiller) Deibert.

A 1947 graduate of Slatington High School, she was a 1949 graduate of the former Haff Hospital School of Nursing, Northampton.

She was a nurse at the former Allentown Osteopathic Hospital, Allentown, for 28 years before retiring in 1977.

A member of the Haff Hospital Alumni Association, she was a former minority voting inspector for Washington Township Southern District for several years.

She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Slatington, and an associate member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Slatington.

Her survivors include sisters-in-law Lorraine A. Van Norman, Dorothy H. Breininger and Marilyn R. Cerrone; brother-in-law Clifford F. Blose; and several nieces and nephews.
