Frank S. Gober

Frank S. Gober, 85, of Whitehall, died Sept. 28, 2016, at home. He was the husband of Mary (Montagner) Gober for 59 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Stephen and Mary (Gaspar) Gober.

He was in the U.S. Navy.

He retired in 1995 from the Tarkett Company after many years of service. He was a school bus driver for Parkland School District.

He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Fullerton.

He was a member of Hokendauqua American Legion Post 739 and a life member of Fullerton Fire Company.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, MaryAnne Potocnie of Whitehall, Carol and her husband George Anthony of Orefield, Catherine (Peach) and her husband Mark Bonshak of Whitehall and Jennifer and her husband John Kuronya of Walnutport; a son, James Gober of Lansdale; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Theresa Kutos of Bethlehem.
