Evelyn “Evie” K. Bucklin, 89, of Fullerton, died Sept. 26, 2016. She was the wife of the late James E. Bucklin Sr. for 52 years.

Born in Langford, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Lucille Kohn.

She was a graduate of Nathan Littauer Hospital School of Nursing.

She worked at the V.A. Hospital, Syracuse, N.Y., and was a surgical nurse at Ilion Hospital and Dover General Hospital, Dover, N.J., from which she retired.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Fullerton.

She was a member of the Golden Agers.

She volunteered as an elementary school nurse.

She is survived by a son, James E. Jr. and his wife Lisa of Whitehall; two granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Brianna and her companion Justin Iman; two sisters, Mary Lou Pietropaoli and Maggie and her husband Al Gressler; a brother, Clarence and his wife Joan Kohn; and nieces and nephews and their extended families.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Agnes, Ruth and Kate.
