The Sheckler Shack will be open for business for students to make purchases on the day assigned for their grade level.

First-graders will shop Oct. 18, second-graders Oct. 19, third-graders Oct. 20 and fourth-graders Oct. 21.

It’s time to get those creative ideas flowing because Sheckler Elementary School’s pumpkin decorating contest is approaching. All students are invited to participate in the contest by submitting a carved or decorated pumpkin, or a combination of both.

All entries must be submitted Oct.24-26.

Entries should be labeled with the student’s name and homeroom number.

Judging will take place Oct. 27.

Second-grade students will be taking a field trip to Seiple Farms Oct. 18.
