Suburban North YMCA will be having its annual 5-K and will launch Debbie’s Dash: The Debbie Linton Memorial Walk and Free Kids Fun Run 3 p.m. Oct. 15. The walk/run will start and end at Alumni Field.
Dash After Dark, a continuation of Debbie’s Dash, will be held at the Willow Brook pavilion, Howertown Road, North Catasauqua, 6-10 p.m.
Enjoy live entertainment by the James Supra Band while you enjoy Oktoberfest-inspired food.

Revolution Church, 5 Race St., will be holding a community dinner and game night 4-7 p.m. Oct. 15. The dinner will consist of baked chicken, rice and beans, potato salad, dessert and drinks.

George Taylor House now has an official phone number - 484-240-1034 - and a P.O. Box - 228. The next meeting will take place 7 p.m. Oct. 18 in the new pavilion. Hope you’ll jump on board, get involved and come to this meeting.
At this meeting, officers will be elected, Friends of George will be discussed, a bank account will be set up and a nonprofit status will be sought.
A liquor license may be applied for in the future.

Keenagers, the seniors group at Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, will meet noon Oct. 19 for lunch and fellowship.
A Good Shepherd Hospital representative will speak about nutrition and good eating habits.
There is no cost to attend.
