Michele “Shelly” L. Heiney, 59, of North Catasauqua, died Oct. 1, 2016, at her residence. She was the wife of Donald L. Heiney for 37 years.

She was a daughter of Barbara (Kane) Johns and the late Edward “Mickey” Johns.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, Chad L. and his girlfriend Danielle Hoffman; two sisters, Sandy and her husband Thomas Bennett and Ardel and her husband Jason Babio; a grandson, Abel L. Heiney; in-laws David L. and Betty Heiney; nieces; and nephews.

There will be a calling time 6-7:30 p.m., followed by a service 7:30 p.m., both Oct. 7 at the funeral home, 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, 18032.
