Margaret H. “Peggy” Deutsch, 82, a lifelong resident of Whitehall, died Sept. 30, 2016, in Phoebe Home, Allentown.

A daughter of the late Louis and Susan (Dolinsky) Deutsch Sr., she was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church.

A garment worker for O&H Manufacturing before retiring in 1997, she previously worked at Phoenix Clothes.

She was a member of the Auxiliaries of Fullerton American Legion Post 367 and Fullerton Fire Co. No. 1.

She enjoyed her membership in the Coplay Saengerbund.

Her survivors include a sister, Kathy, with whom she resided, sister Anna Matika and sister-in-law Leona Deutsch, both of Whitehall; and three nieces and their families.

She was predeceased by her sister Barbara and brother Louis.

Services will be 10 a.m. Oct. 6 in Gilbert Funeral Home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall, with Father John S. Pendzick officiating.

Her viewing will begin 9 a.m.

Interment will follow in Laurel Cemetery, Whitehall.
