Hokendauqua: Woman’s club meeting is Oct. 10 at Faith Lutheran
The monthly meeting of The Woman’s Club of Whitehall Township will be 7 p.m. Oct. 10. The club meets at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road.
This month, club members will stuff cancer pillows as their program project.
Members are reminded to bring macaroni products for the food pantry as well as items for Turning Point, such as socks, shampoo, body wash and gift certificates to grocery stores and Walmart.
Women interested in membership are invited to attend the meeting.

As a reminder, Hokendauqua Park & Playground Association’s basketball registration for boys and girls will be held at the Hokey Park pavilion 6-8 p.m. tomorrow, Oct. 7. Please note the location change.
Visit hokeypark.org for registration forms and additional information. The registration form may be downloaded and completed prior to coming to Hokey Park for sign-ups.
You also can register online at hokeypark.org until Oct. 7.
When signing up, bring copies of your child’s birth certificate, health insurance and contact information, including phone numbers and email address.

At 2 p.m. Oct. 16, Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold a blessing of the pets service in Parker Hall.

An upcoming Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative community meal is scheduled at a church in Hokendauqua.
First Presbyterian Church of Hokendauqua, 3005 S. Front St., will host the 4:30-7 p.m. meal Oct. 18.
There is no charge.
