Evelyn A. Stauffer, 102, formerly of Emmaus, died Sept. 26, 2016, in Lehigh Center. She was the wife of the late Homer O.E. Stauffer. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Jennie (Wisser) Reichard.

She graduated from South Whitehall High School.

She was a member of Cedar Lutheran Church, former member of Eastern Star and Emmaus Centennial Dames of the Dan Beards.

Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family playing cards and board games.

She is survived by sons, Paul W. and his wife Nancy, of Rehoboth Beach, Del., Lester D. and his wife Rita, of Bethlehem and Rock and his wife Margie, of Emmaus; daughter, Janet and her husband Richard Snyder, of Alburtis; grandchildren, John, Matthew, Daniel, Mark, Karen, Brian, Tracy, and Kevin; 19 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
