St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., will hold a halupki dinner 4-6 p.m. Oct. 8 in the church’s social hall.

As a fundraiser for Forgotten Felines and Fidos Inc., an all-you-can-eat spaghetti and meatballs dinner will take place 4-7 p.m. Oct. 8 at Commitment to Family & Community, 165 Cherry St.

In conjunction with Fire Prevention Week/Month, Coplay Fire Department will have an open house at the Cherry Street station 6-9 p.m. Oct. 10. There will be plenty for families to see and be part of the activities.

Coplay Sports Inc. will have a board of directors meeting at its Sixth Street field house 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12. On the agenda will be its fall baseball program and the upcoming Wildcats basketball program.

At Coplay Recreation & Welfare Association’s Halloween parade Oct. 18, Whitehall High School’s Marching Zephyr Band will be joined by East Hills Middle School band from Bethlehem Area School District, Wind Gap Eagles Drum & Bugle Corps, Allentown Hobo “Almost” Marching Band and Rajah Oriental Band.
