Jeffrey Michael Wawarzyniak, 37, of Reading, was stopped by police after they allegedly observed several traffic violations 10:57 p.m. Aug. 5 on I-78, Upper Macungie Township, say State Police Troop M Fogelsville.
Police say as a result of the stop, Wawarzyniak was arrested for driving under the influence.
A probable cause search of his vehicle was conducted after troopers allegedly smelled the odor of marijuana coming from inside.
Police allege marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle.
DUI and Controlled Substances, Drugs, Device and Cosmetic Act charges were filed against Wawarzyniak before District Judge Michael Faulkner, Upper Macungie.
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Kemah Jones, 24, of Canal Winchester, Ohio, was driving a vehicle when a traffic stop was conducted 8:50 p.m. Sept. 5 on I-78, Upper Macungie.
Police allege Jones and passenger David Simmons, 20, of Columbus, Ohio, were in possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.
Charges related to the Controlled Substances, Drugs, Device and Cosmetic Act were filed against the two before District Judge Michael Faulkner, Upper Macungie.
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Alexander Julio Fitzgerald, 24, of North Andover, Mass., was stopped for an alleged traffic violation 3:21 a.m. Sept. 8 on I-78, Upper Macungie Township.
Police allege Fitzgerald was driving under suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and was in possession of marijuana and brass knuckles.
He was taken into custody and charges were filed with District Judge Michael Faulkner, Upper Macungie.
