Nevin H. Roth, 90, died Sept. 17, 2016, in the Villa of Fellowship Manor, Whitehall.

He and his wife Florence G. (Diehl) Roth were married more than 70 years.

Born in Ormod, he was the son of the late Harvey V. and Gertie (Stettler) Roth.

Before retiring, he was an ice cream maker for Lehigh Valley Dairy for 37 years.

He was a member of Jordan Lutheran Church, Orefield.

An avid woodworker, he especially made toys and also enjoyed traveling.

During WWII, he served in the U.S. Navy.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Diane Hackman of Pen Argyl; sisters Lorene Lazarus of Whitehall, Shirley Manescu of St. Louis, Mo,; granddaughters Melissa Hackman and Renee Bracken; seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by brothers Clifford and Stanley.
