Mary D. Billowitch, 92, of Whitehall, formerly of Emmaus, died Sept. 14, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph C. Billowitch.

She was a seamstress at the former Nanette Company, Allentown, for 29 years until retiring. Born in Vera Cruz, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Angelina (Constantina) Lakanal.

She loved to cook, play cards and go bowling. She enjoyed working out at the gym until she was in her 90s and loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by sons, John and his wife Susan and Michael and his wife Debra, both of Whitehall; granddaughters, Katie and her husband Michael Leighton, of Allentown and Karyn and her husband David Zwoyer, of Topton; great-grandchldren, Kenna Zwoyer and Dean Zwoyer.
