Malvene L. Beitler, 97, of Emmaus, died Sept. 25, 2016, at home. She was the wife of the late Clifford V. Beitler who died in 2000. Born in Alburtis, she was the daughter of the late Erwin and Jennie (Bortz) Moser.
She was employed as a sewing machine operator at the Emmaus Shirt Factory.
She is survived by a daughter, Joyce and her husband Ronald Brey with whom she resided; granddaughter, Debra Natysyn and her companion, Gary Kressley; great-grandchildren, Nicole and her husband Jay Melber and Lora and her husband Isaac Pedroza; great-great grandchildren, Jakob and Kiley Melber; godson, Jeffrey Moser. She was the last survivor of 11 siblings.
Contributions may be made to the Emmaus Ambulance Corp., Borough of Emmaus, 28 S. 4th St., Emmaus, 18049.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Sept. 28 at Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
