WZZO will broadcast live during an event to benefit the Whitehall Fire Department 5-8 p.m. Oct. 5 at Keystone Pub and Grill, 1410 Grape St., Whitehall.

Firefighters responded to a report over the summer that the radio station’s van was burning. In appreciation of the department’s response efforts, WZZO is hosting this event.

Bearman and Keith and Samantha Layne will be broadcasting live. Members of the fire department will be on hand as well.

A portion of the night’s sales will be donated to the fire department. Raffles also will be held.
