Nicholas Kobinetz, 90, of Whitehall, died Sept. 12, 2016, at home. He was the husband of the late Lois M. (Schaffer) Kobinetz.
Born in Nesquehoning, he was a son of the late Michael and Helena (Weklyn) Kobinetz.
He was in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WW II.
He worked in the accounting department at the former Western Electric for 30 years, from which he retired in 1982.
He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Fullerton.
He was a member of American Legion Post 576.
He is survived by a son, William L. Stengel; three daughters, Patricia A. and her husband Seith Schentzel, Susan M. and her husband Robert Leposa and Carol A. and her husband Richard Tomanchek; and four grandchildren, Bobby, Bradley, Adam and Richie.
He was predeceased by brothers and sisters.
