Linda A. Brown, 67, of Orefield, died Sept. 18, 2016, in her home.

She was the wife of the late Robert H.E. Brown Jr.

Born June 9, 1949, in Easton, she was the daughter of Kenneth L. Johnson of Allentown and the late Dorothy E. (Arnold) Johnson.

She faithfully and honorably served her country in the U.S. Marine Corps.

A graduate of Shepherd University, W.Va., she earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

She was supervisor of the accounts payable department of Service Tire Truck Centers, Bethlehem, for the last 25 years.

She was an Honorary First Defender and a member of the Marine Corps League.

In addition to her father, she is survived by children, Michael J. Alford Jr. and his wife, Kayo, of Burlingame, Calif., Cyndi L. O’Hara and Leesa M. Brown, both of Orefield; sister Brenda J. Seitz of Macungie; and grandchildren Joseph M. and Emma J. Alford.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
