Lloyd E. Schueck, 76, of Macungie, died Sept. 16, 2016, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Lynn E. (Harner) Schueck. They celebrated 48 years of marriage in July. Born in Schmoyer’s Mill, he was a son of the late Nevin W. and E. Irene (Hiestand) Schueck.

He worked as a building equipment mechanic for Bell of PA, retiring from Verizon in 2001 after 33 years.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965.

He is survived by his wife; son, Nevin R. and his wife Alexandria; daughters, Mary Ellen and her husband Terrence Morris, Janet Lynn and her husband Jason Gaston; sisters, Joyce Furry, Ruth Ann, Sandra and her husband Arthur Bernecker; four grandchildren, Bailey, Danica, Noelle and Olivia. A sister Arlene Smoyer predeceased him.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Sept. 21 at the Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville. A calling hour will begin 10 a.m.
