Dorothy S. Paules, 87, of Allentown, died Sept. 16, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Richard T. Paules Sr., to whom she was married 54 years. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Ethel M. Siegfried.

Before retiring, she worked for 25 years at H. Leh and Co. department store as an assistant buyer and certified mastectomy prostheses fitter.

She was a longtime member of St. James UCC, Allentown.

She was a wonderful mom and nana who enjoyed holiday decorating, gardening, cooking and playing the piano.

She is survived by sons, Richard T. Jr. and his wife Denise, of Brookhaven, Ronald G. and his wife Linda, of Emmaus; daughter, Debra J. and her husband Michael Christman, of Orefield; grandchildren, Ryan, Chris, Laurie, Dan, Tim, Tom, Kimmy and great-granddaughter, Mabel Mae.
