Whitehall library: Dave Fry to perform tonight at library
There are many events coming up in September. First, local musician Dave Fry will be here 6:30 p.m. tonight, Sept. 15, to entertain all ages. Come in and join the music fun!

Our third Monday open mic and jam night will feature Banchi and will start 6:30 p.m. Sept. 19.
October 17 will be Friends of Tom.

Entertainers interested in performing three songs or a 15-minute set are asked to sign up just before 6:30 p.m. Musicians, singers, poets, comedians, actors, writers, storytellers, etc., come show off your stuff, or just come and be part of the audience.

Our third Tuesday movie night is 6 p.m. Sept. 20. We’re showing “The Jungle Book.”
On Oct. 18, come see “Captain America: Civil War.”

We will have a beading program 6 p.m. Sept. 21 and 28. If you are interested in beaded jewelry and making one for yourself, join us for this class.
Space is limited, so please register by phone or at the front desk. You may register for either or both of our classes, depending on your availability and how many questions you think you’ll have.
You don’t have to bring anything except a willingness to learn and have fun.
Marty Beaton is donating supplies, so your first class will be free of charge.

Our fourth Tuesday adult coloring club is 11 a.m. Sept. 27 and Oct. 25. Anyone 18 and older is welcome to join us.
The library has some supplies but invites you to bring your own as well.

Wonder Health and Wellness will be here to help us with the program “Find Your Stress-Free Zone” 6 p.m. Sept 22. Stress is a natural part of our life, but this session could show you how to manage it.

Whitehall Lions Club and other community organizations are sponsoring a duck race to be held Sept. 25 as part of Stroll on the Parkway. The race will be 1 p.m. on the Ironton Rail Trail at Hokendauqua Park.
Purchase your duck race ticket at the library.
All proceeds go toward the purchase of a closed-circuit television for Whitehall Township Public Library patrons who are visually impaired.
There is a cost for a ticket, and one ticket buys one duck. Each duck will have a number on it.
